Don’t let God let go all of us.

Don’t let God let go all of us.

I met a good friend of mine last week. We usually share a common vision on spirituality. We both carry out our faith in a non-religious fashion. We recognize a source of life greater than ourselves. I believe in feeling connected or grounded to a web of energy and possibilities available everywhere and anywhere, all around us. In my spiritual realm, I let God be.

But last week, Timothy was disconnected from all of it. His disappointment was the main source powering his thoughts and his logic was tainted with steaming sadness. I listened without agreeing and soon enough, I stopped trying to bring him home, meaning back to himself. He just needed to lash out. Timothy is angry at the humankind and he is taking out his rage against God. I just know how it feels, I’ve been there, powerlessness usually makes me feel furious. So I just listened and practiced kindness to the best of my ability. I’ve asked him questions and reminded myself to be a friend above it all.

Even after a couple days, our conversation keeps me thinking. Timothy felt so deceived, betrayed and abandoned that he decided to deny the existence of God. Locked and loaded on that solution, he presented and defended his atheist position rigorously. But still, I would not flinch, not even an iota.

Don’t get on your high horses yet!

It’s not a question of faith, not directly or entirely anyway. It’s more about staying truthful to the best version of myself in this situation, for the common greater good which includes us, not just me. Easier said than done though.

Anyway one funny thing, Timothy’s fury comes in part from the spiritual procrastination of another friend. Lisa is practicing the “Let go, let God” to the edge of insanity which makes her act as a kind of extremist for that matter. She expects God to solve her problems. Whatever comes her way seems for her to be God’s answers. This interpretation of faith is a trend in the spiritual fair we live in. I believe it is dangerous, insidious and scary.

God’s speed or what?

Why do I think it’s a dangerous and insidious trend? For starter because it cultivates one’s fear to make bad decisions and then transforms thus fear in a peculiar sluggish faith. The kind of blinded faith that results in a docility ready to consent to almost anything… if it is God’s will. Do you see what I’m seeing here. It is as scary as it can get.

Secondly, it’s insidious because it pretends to a knowledge and to an understanding of God’s will. Therefore, it implies also there is one good faith, one good spirituality, one good lifestyle, one good religion and one good God: the One they think they understand placed above all the other gods.

It is also insidiously insane and scary because it’s very difficult to have a simple conversation about life’s challenges, about humankind or faith with a person locked and loaded on that premise. Why is that?

Well, according to this logic, it is always the will of God or time to wait for God’s will or to let God… You know God’s speed. Nothing more to be clarified, talked over or to be understood. In that belief system, everybody feels powerless like a fly stuck in an empty glass turned upside down on the table.

From my personal experience, powerlessness is neither faith or neither humility. It is painful to the core, it harnesses shame, resentments and in a very specific way, victimization. It makes us angry and not responsible really.  I guess this could explain how so many religious quibbles got out of control and why we must stay open and vigilant.

Do not let God let go all of us.

Timothy and I are still friends after this difficult conversation about God, humankind stupidity and religion. We passed the test. This could have gone so wrong. But lucky us, my Higher Power and his Non-God don’t care about righteousness. We care about each other. We love peace and non-violence.

Have you heard about Nathalie Lussier’s Heartquarters?

Nathalie Lussier’s Heartquarters is an amazing experience of growth on line, personal and business wise.

A couple years ago, I picked up a Video on YouTube about Building a Mailing List by Nathalie Lussier.  I was a total newbie in the world of virtual business.  I felt she was gutsy to put herself out there. But at the same time, she looked like a real person to me. A regular woman I could meet at the superstore and that felt amazing. This moment is an important take away on my entrepreneur path.

A few days later I opted-in for the free 30 Day List Building Challenge. The work was far more extensive than I apprehended.  Reading her blogs, watching her videos and tutorials (always to the point and efficient) kept me going. If she could do it, I could do it. I received new resources and tools, free tips and real easy instructions to follow. At one point it felt like I wanted to strive, build my business and hustle the way she did.  I opted-in for the pretty affordable paid version of The Challenge to go faster…

The third gift I received is all about values.

With Nathalie Lussier, to be a successful entrepreneur matches with a deep respect of her audience and her students. She is cultivating a lot of integrity in her work. By the way, her plug-in Popupally is totally designed in that fashion and its free version also delivers the goods.

Because I learned from that journey what kind of entrepreneur I really want to be. The genuine approach, the generosity, the quality of the content made it an easy decision. Even more amazing, her team provides an exemplary support. Find who you are

Find who you are

In the home business world, keeping the focus on the desired outcomes is the first most vital ability we need to harvest. Until it becomes a well anchored skill, most of us struggle with prioritizing actions on a daily basis mainly because starting a home business commands also a whole new sets of values, habits and actions. It’s all new; it’s all good and scary. Everything is urgent and we hear a lot about finding a sense of urgency to hustle better, to want more, to do to do to do to do. But, one of the scariest parts comes from not knowing ourselves deeply enough to rectify the course of our actions from what makes us powerful beyond measure: Our values. I know it’s going back to the basics but values help to find who you are.

A few months ago I read Johnathan Fields blog. The topic was about narrowing down the reasons why we choose the home business or to become entrepreneur, what does really motivate that decision and then to connect the dots to have a stronger vision. I know it has been said over and over but it’s always about the angle we look at that kind of stuff that makes the difference.  I love this set of questions for its simple to the point approach, pursuing the real dominion of our hearts and souls as humans beings not productivity machines.

Here are the not so easy questions to answer that makes us feel more connected to ourselves.

  • What do I care about?
What do I hold sacred, both in business and life?
What lights me up. What would I work hard to do for free?
  • What empties me out, emotionally, psychologically and physically?
Who do I want do serve?
Do I care more about serving or building?
  • What do I value on a non-negotiable level?
    What am I great at?
    What am I terrible at?
How do I want to spend each day?. How do I want to live my life?

Losing tracks

Losing tracks

Losing tracks or nut happens to most of us once in a while but on a very regular basis. I must say I’m gifted in this peculiar sphere of the home business entrepreneur lifestyle.  I just caught myself in a totally locked and loaded state of mind about productive tools I don’t really need right now. Do you see what I mean?

I’m building a brand new community of people willing to feel happier healthier and unstuck, ready to give back, share their love and design better lifestyles. There are 2 or 3 productive tools I’m using to make that happen: MailChimps to manage and support the automation of my blog’s releases, of my newsletters to my new clients and partners, and to manage the opt-in offers. I also use ASANA tasks planner to stay focused on my daily planning. Surely I’m building a website and I will SEO my way in with the Google tools. For now, I do not need any of the absolutely incredible power apps to help me out. I am building a community, simple and clear. I want to use smart automation tools to welcome the newbies in my world. That’s it. I want to follow up with my clients and serve them to the best of knowledge.

Losing sight of our very basic needs is so easy.

Here is the unrated version. I was already there. Not here. Over there. It’s good to be in the vision, to see the magnificent results and the better life we are creating except when it becomes a sneaky overwhelming storm of hidden emotions out of control from the inside out. Yeap I just wrote that. Rest assured I am a nutcase with a plan and I am not crazier than the average entrepreneurs climbing their upper limits on their knees if they have to. I’m escaping reality once in a while but on a very regular basis. The primordial lesson is learning to head back to the arena, no matter what.

Getting back on track is a national sport in the entrepreneurial arena.

Locked and loaded on productivity tools or anything else and meanwhile in the background of our mind, there is a tiny tiny tiny voice trying to take the stand and speak out about a lack of sleep, a lack of meditation time, a serious rebuff about taking the day off, cleaning the house, going for a walk and feeling the whole Mood unwinding. Why do we do that to ourselves?

’’When you appreciate yourself, you realize that you don’t have to feel wretched or condemned. You don’t have to artificially puff yourself up, either. You discover your basic dignity, which comes along with gentleness. You have always possessed this, but you may never have recognized it before.’’
Teachings by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche by Shambhala Publications.

Is this reflecting on you ? Are you smiling ? I hope so.

Sassy goals

Sassy goals

I love to list my goals, more importantly I love sassy goals. I love to write down lists of actions. I select timeline, reachable tasks, sustainable efforts, some more measurable, some less measurable. I love putting down on paper the overflow of ideas clustered in my mind. It gives me a sense of importance and of clarity from which I can narrow down my sassy goals.  A couple years ago, I regularly pledge to get to the bottom of the to do list hanging on my board, nagging me. Some of these building business chores were holding me back; it was all new stuffs for me. Paralyzing me. Usually when I stayed too long in an unknown territory, the old belief system stating that ‘I’m not good enough’ grew some power over my self-confidence resulting in loosing the sassy effect. No sassy effect. No sassy goals.

When I feel overwhelmed, I float over my list of goals like a lonely bird seeking south.

I tried everything. I’ve put together vision boards, self-declarations and I planned the whole year ahead with 3 months goals representing milestones of my success. There was still something wrong. I was doing it by fueling from my own power and it was never enough. After a short time, I was done with the race, extenuated, so out of order. I was going through an internal power surge, not a breakdown, not a depression, not a burnout but I kept operating from my very rational intellectual conception of what I needed to do in order to succeed. It was not enough energy to take in a marathon like starting a flourishing business with purpose. There was no sassy goals, no fun to show up, just meaningless humdrums like the old days at the office.

I used to think procrastination as a defect, a lack of will or leadership, the proof of the missing piece separating brilliant successful people from the others.  I was right about one thing there was a missing piece: Me wholehearted, brave, courageous and willing to walk the extra miles to get out there. I discovered I was shy of my natural sassiness in the business field. I redefined out there again until I felt locked and loaded with delicious joyful bliss, until I felt like starting right now.  Then I realized my list of goals was more difficult to achieve than I thought and, there was too much to be done. Even if died  as a 135 years old healthy wise goddess, there was still not enough time to build all of that.

So, I went for not more than 3 sassy crazy achievable priorities for the next 12 months. I chunked each of them in smaller goals and I established milestones in order to stay the course. My oh! My goddess, once it’s done it sounds so easy and it feels empowering.

My three sassy goals fueled by purpose, passion, love and commitment are:

  1. Create a network of 5 000 builders
  2. Create a solid monthly residual income
  3. Project 2 with a solid monthly residual income

Now, we all know it is all possible if I let go of the need to stick rigidly to the plan. The plan defines the final destination; the milestones are to stay the course. The weekly commitments and actions design the compound effect. The first step is to engage and execute on a daily basis to create commitments. No more questions ask. My true freedom is to be do be do who I choose to: a sassy successful coach, entrepreneur and blogger.

When I align with the grid, I fly over obstacles like a migratory bird reaching south.

Business purpose

Business purpose

My business purpose does not share a standard business plan. A business with a purpose simply means that caring for others is the main reason for producing  profits and  incomes. I believe that by building a network of people willing to care for others with needs more urgent, we are changing the world. We do so by building compassionate sustainable actions and by creating an unforgettable experience of oneness for the people we serve. I believe we need to feel good experiences to want better experiences; we need a memory of goodwill for wanting to recreate goodwill. We need to be part of the change.

Are you tired of falling short of energy?  Do you feel like your days are a never-ending short story? Would you love to wake up to a fresher mind? How about walking in your life with clarity about what you really want. These questions redefine my conception of freedom and the manifesto of the business I created.

Health triggers better judgement, better learning skills, better decision making and more compassionate people. To begin to change the world we need  all of these elements. Why? Because optimal healthy human beings agree to share their wealth as their mind bodies and spirits leave the survival mode. They honor their body with nourishing food, supplements free from chemicals hazards, and their body loves them back. Olympics athletes, World Tennis Player, Professional Climbers have this one thing in common: They already experienced this exhilarating relationship with their bodies. They know how amazing and resilient the human mind body and spirit can be. They say it changes ones perception of the world when they feel they can rely on such wonderful teammates, their healthy bodies. It is a huge transformation creating what is needed to operate changes.

This is the main reason I chose my affiliation with Usana Health Sciences. They give me an all stars customer services, a topnotch remuneration program on a week-to-week basis. Their products meet the pharmaceutical standards and are clinically proven 100% efficient. My partnership with them offers me the unique opportunity to share wellness, to change lives from the roots to the soul without any concerns about the quality or the efficiency. This is how I create residual incomes.

On the other hand, my coaching is about breaking free from the burden of everyday life. And I know how my freedom looks like; it looks just like me with a smile. My first epic goal is to support the creation of healthy minds bodies and luminous spirits for anybody who wants to live lightweight. Not lightly. Not trivial. Not scanty. Light weighted. With work and dedication, I coach from anywhere. We can meet in person or on the web. I am writing a book, composing new music and songs. I can serve the people with my gifts and share to the world my vision. I am seeking new partnerships to expand my reach as long as we share common values like integrity, benevolence for starter. Everything is possible. I love freedom with its infinite possibilities because your freedom looks like you with a smile.

My happiness results from helping others on their way to wellness and my definition of wellness is feeling astonishing almost all the time with myself. My happiness means sharing my wealth, coaching with positive psychological triggers, bringing joy and empowerment to the table. My roadmap to financial freedom includes blogging with openness, honesty, authenticity, different streams of residual incomes, building bridges between us and within us to resolve, reach and connect.

My livelihood comes from my purpose embedded in my heart and soul. It comes from my willingness to take part in a more fair rounded way of earning incomes and making small sustainable efforts to provide water, happiness, schools, gardening spaces, hugs and new homes for the orphans, shelter for the girls, teenagers or women wanting to change the hands they were dealt with.

My business plan is not a standard business plan. A business with a purpose simply means that caring for others is the main reason for producing  profits and  incomes. I believe that by building a network of people willing to care for others with needs more urgent, we are changing the world. We do so with compassionate sustainable actions and we create an unforgettable experience of oneness for the people we serve. I Believe we need to feel good experiences to want better experiences; we need a memory of goodwill for wanting to recreate goodwill. We need to be part of the change.

If we want things to change, it starts by becoming healthy, by sharing and by serving. By believing we are the change.
